Welcome to Overbury Village Hall

Designed and built by Richard Norman Shaw in 1896 for Robert Martin, this beautiful Arts and Crafts building has been at the centre of community life ever since.

The hall is a flexible space that can cater for exercise classes, meetings, parties, events, weddings, shows and more. See what we have to offer on the Facilities page and check availability on the Calendar.

Please note that there is no car park, so we ask that users park on the roadside with consideration for residents and estate workers.

Activities and events

Zoe Coltraro and Suzie Robinson run regular pilates sessions with a mix of daytime and evening classes to choose from. Please refer to the calendar to find a time that suites you and contact either Zoe or Suzie, as appropriate, to confirm availability. Their contact details are

Rugby Tykes run indoor rugby activity sessions for Children aged 2-6 years on Friday afternoons. The sessions are lively, full of learning experiences but above all GREAT FUN! The 45 minute sessions combine core rugby and movement skills along with developing your child’s physical literacy. To find out more, contact Pete Healey at

Overbury and Conderton Sings is a local community choir. It rehearses on Monday evenings and all ages and abilities are welcome. The choir sings a wide variety of music and often performs at community events, most notably taking centre stage at the annual Christmas Cracker in the church. We have a meeting room that can accommodate 16 people seated boardroom style. For larger meetings or conferences you can hire the main hall, which will comfortably seat 120 people theatre style, or slightly less conference style, with plenty of room for a speaker podium and exhibition space. We can provide staging and audio-visual equipment if required.
